Your Body Needs These Three Forms of Movement This Week

We hear a lot about how just walking is great for your health. But is it really enough? Someone talked to a fitness expert who said we should really be focusing on three different types of movement each week. Here they are...

1. Everyday movement. That includes things like walking, stretching, and bending. Doing that stuff every day is a great first step.

2. Athletic movement. Meaning things like true cardio and weight training. Not every day, but a few times a week. The more varied, the better.

3. Social movement. Meaning it also involves other people. So, things like golf, dancing, and pickleball. Whatever it is, just make sure it's something you enjoy, or you won't make it a habit.
